Fear and Loathing, what do you believe the definition of a hippy to be?

Yeayaknow Charlie did have his nice side...... That he did, and he was hardly a serial killer worthy of the attention he has gained. He had a very artistic side to him, albeit the music sucked horribly...he still tried. I personally think he was a lost genius A really, really, really lost genius. Manson could have done great things with his life, he was just too egotistical and wanted attention. He recieved attention through his followers, and he fed off it...wanted to see how far he could go with it, and screwed up...he just started picking up speed after that. Ever heard one of his parole hearings? He really should just shut up sometimes... |

He always turned put to be his own worst enemy Not only was he a natural born killer but he was a natural born leader!! If he turned in the other way I know he wouldve been an iconvto his generation in another way |

They exist, most people that are considered genius's don't finish school and/or fail in a lot of areas of school. Reading is one of them as well as basic english, which is why if a persons IQ is in the genius level they tend to be loners that eventually have no choice but to be taken care of by the state. Which I find funny, no one will offer a genius a job if he doesn't have a diploma...but the next idiot fresh out of college can get the job and dig the company under in a matter of six months. |

The only time you'll hear me refer to someone as "nice" is when they haven't made enough of an impression for me to use a real descriptor.
"Nice" is sort of a diplomatic placeholder for "meh." |

Im not surprised Manson has druggies who followed him, hes not the only one, I dont think thats the work of a genius.
His iq was tested at 121, I just dont think he is brilliant in anyway. Hes achieved nothing associated with achievement of insight which has transformational power. |

Perhaps we should introduce him to Hagatha. |

I always saw Manson as a con-man more than anything else. How could someone who condones murder be a true hippie. It's an oxymoron.

Hes achevived nothing associated with achievement of insight which has transformational power. He was a different kind of genius, he went the wrong way and used his IQ in the wrong manner. Still a genius, just not a very good one. |

The same principle applies to anyone who thinks they can enjoy that amount of freedom. Manson did not con anyone, the people that followed him followed the real Manson...he truly was quite f'd in the head. |
