Thank you. I have an ulcer, been taking some OTC meds an it seems to help. maybe you need to see a gastroenterologist- he can get to the root of your problem and take care of it- if you are running a fever or just cannot stand the pain- go to the ER but i strongly recommend seeing a doctor Feel better Red |

I had an ulcer, and i had to take a 3 month course of antibiotics.
The pain is horrible, its like an empty pain, and i always suffered after eating, mines developed as a result of poor eating habits and smoking on an empty stomach. |

Could be acid reflux or ulcer, if your getting bloating with it then could be gastritis. The symptoms are similar to an ulcer, and can be very painful.

Thank you. I have an ulcer, been taking some OTC meds an it seems to help. Have you had an upper endoscopy to confirm that you have an ulcer? Ulcers aren't "cured" by OTC meds. OTC meds just make you more comfortable. If the ulcer is caused Helicobacter pylori bacteria, you would be needing an antibiotic. H.Plylori bacteria is the leading cause of ulcers and the only way that it can be confirmed that one has them is with an upper endoscopy. If the ulcer is caused by other means, there are special meds to cure them. |

I had a similar problem, constant stomache aches for YEARS! Turns out I found out that I was one of those people allergic to wheat! Who knew? So basically everything was making me sick. But they went away when I cut that out. Could be anything in your case, just giving you options!
