i have a son thats 22yrs old but he has a mind capcity of a 12yr old he is a special needs child. when he was little for a couple yrs he was member of a little league for special needs, and i had a bf at the time that helped with the team....

this is my fifth year vollenteering and it just keeps gettin better every year, next year we are hosting the National Special Olympics, that outta be something!!

my son cant play softball any more.. we didnt know untill 4yrs ago that he only had one kidney..
and at the end of dec of 2006 he had been sick a week and a few days after xmas my mom took him to doc where he was admited in the hospitol. he was in pediactrics and they rushed him into icu where he went into cardiac arrest. not only did he have pneumoina but issue with his lungs heart and his only kidney..he was in the hospitol a total of 3weeks.. hes been on dialysis now for a little over a 1yr. we have the same birthdefect called lawerence beild syndrome, it effects each person in a differnt way but it does cause issue with the kidneys. i have had problems with my kidney for 26yrs they think longer and i have been on dialysis for 4yrs
