BAM BAM BAM

Johnny spun as he dropped to the floor, a shot glass flew from his hand and splintered into Brokenglass Voice's third eye. He screamed in rage his hands flailing at the splinters and blood. The shot glass was actually made of nanites, which began burrowing into the thug's brain.

Johnny took one in the left shoulder as he was going down and before his energy shield fully formed.

The clones advanced upon Johnny emptying clip after clip. Johnny didn't know what kinda of ammo they were using but it was having an affect on his shield. He knew he couldn't maintain the shield indefinitely, it was just a matter of time...

A beam of flickering light appeared behind the clones, a figure stepped out of it, quickly forming into a humanoid of giant proportions. His head nearly touching the 8 foot
ceiling,was bristling with spiked hair. A nose that had been broken many times flattened across his broad face.A neck as thick as a malibull's sloped to shoulders too broad for a woman to encircle with her arms. The clones going after Johnny weren't aware of his presence until he had grabbed two of them and threw them through the wall knocking Brokenglass to the floor in a tangle of arms and legs..the third clone turned in time to have his head twisted from his body by the mallet sized hands of the newcomer.
Having dealt with the clones, Ramson laughed out loud and grabbed Johnny by the arm and in a swirl of flashing light, they were gone.

Johnny dropped to his knees in the red sand gasping for breath. Ramsonlaughed as he conjured a bubble filled with air that Johnny could breath. Johnny was about to pass out when Ramson booted him in the chest, just to help him start breathing again. Ramson had waited a long time for this moment, he wouldn't be cheated of his vengeance and it wouldn't be satisfied with a quick death.

Ramson looked down on Johnny Strokes as Johnny looked back with a puzzled look. "What do you want with me? I don't know you." he gasped With eyes filled with hatred Ramson replied " Perhaps you remember Illyana... she (KICK)"GRUNT" WAS (KICK)"GRUNT" my (KICK)"GRUNT" wife. (KICK KICK KICK KICK)

Johnny was a bloody mess but still alive. Ramson decided to let him recover a little bit, he didn't want him to die too soon.

Jaq's hand started tingling, at first she didn't pay attention, but as it grew worse she looked at it. The runes that Johnny had put there were fiery red. They were beginning to glow . She had no time to wonder about it and her system sent out nana-electrons to lessen the pain. She had other things to think about right now. The growling screams were getting closer and she needed to find shelter since calling for Loriken wasn't working.
Her powers were very limited here in this forsaken place.
She sensed, rather than heard, something behind her.

Jaq's nanos must have triggered something in the Gizmo, for she began to hear Johnny's voice in her head. ... must fulfill your destiny, if I can I will catch up with you... if I can't there is a sample of my DNA within the Gizmo, thats all you really needed me for anyway... Be strong Jaq....

Jaq looked around, she heard Johnny in her mind but he wasn't here...she had a notion he'd never be back.
" Hey Suga', you waiting on me? You better come on, or those hungry little dogs gonna come and take a bite of that sweet azz of yours"
He he was there, standing beside her. Andex from her homeland. Tall, muscular, blazing purple eyes ringed in the purest silver..Skin a shimmering azure color. He was holding out a hand toward her.."I heard you had some trouble awhile back and your powers haven't returned yet.
" Let me help", he wrapped strong arms around her..she felt the softest of vibrations, and they vanished.

Johnny's mind went to a far off place, he just hope his body would endure...


Back in the 2360s things were crazy in the Outer Limits System, key players needed silencing and Johnny took the Jobs and hired the Guns. Illyana was an Amazonian Rogue, she was the best Blade Singer this side of Fart Scape. He chose her for a most likely suicide mission, but she gladly took the job, she would never back down from a challenging job.

Well **** hit the proverbial fan and hit it hard. Illyana killed her target but and Johnny could only guess here, she was about to get caught and blew the whole compound to Space Dust.

Until today Johnny never knew Illyana had a husband...

" You remind me of my wife. She'll be here soon. She's been busy back in New Metro, but I'm sure they will have to rebuild now." He grinned at Jaq. "She wants to meet you. Her name is Llyana."

Jaq could only wonder why New Metro would have to be rebuilt. She knew that if the mines blew, it would turn the whole continent to dust, it is so riddled with tunnels from the mining. Also the source to the code she is carrying, is there. If something happened to it, all would be lost. If Illyana was there when it blew....she or Johnny would not be coming back.

Johnny thinks he hears a tune called Lets Do The Time Warp, meh I must be freaking delirious or dead... Whump Ugh I guess not Johnny half grunted as he managed to cast another web shield... he knew it wouldn't last long, his life force was very low, he could barely find the energy for speech. But speak he must, it might be his only chance for life.

Johnny spoke directly into the giant's mind...

" I never knew Illyana had a husband, I'm sorry for your loss. I admit I did love her ( the giant went berzerk and started pounding on Johnny's shield) but our relationship was all professional. She knew the risks of the job and took it anyway. yeah you can kill me, but its not gonna bring her back, if you really want revenge ...
