It's impossible to accept Jesus as your savior until you first accept Satan as your nemesis.

Satan gives Jesus meaning.

Satan is truly the bedrock upon which Christianity stands.

Without Satan there is no need for Jesus.

You must believe in Satan First.

You must put Satan before Jesus.

Nothing else make any sense.

I've often argued this with evangelists.

They come and ask, "Have you accepted Jesus as your savior?"

I ask, "Savior from what?"

They say, "Savior from sin."

I ask, "From whence does sin come?"

They say, "From Satan!"

Then I say, well, shouldn't you be asking me to accept Satan as my nemesis before you start asking me to accept Jesus as my savior?

They never seem to understand. They just assume that I already believe in Satan.

It's like they don't even get it.

If I believed in Satan, then maybe I'd have reason to believe in Jesus too. But until I accept Satan there's no point in seeking Jesus to save me from Satan.

It's a riducluous religion. You need to believe in the religion before it can even threaten you.

Even Zeus wasn't dependent on the existence of a Satan. But Zeus wasn't a male-chauvinist jealous pig who threatened to be mean to anyone who refused to believe in him either.

Come to think of it, Zeus probably wasn't all that bad of a God.

JCS and G-dspell were both deemed inappropriate by the Church, even though they were based solely on the Gospels, unlike the Passion which was based on the visions of a woman that the Church expelled. The reason for this is that the Church deemed that the imaginary showing a risen Christ was not enough to inform people that "Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again". For this sole reason the plays and movies were attacked as blasphemous.

The leaders of christianity are a very dependent lot, they do not want those that follow the christian faith to look too close at it, it's one reason they indoctrinate you young. While they manipulate christianity to control you spiritually and otherwise. Next stop the government and complete control. Don't think they want that? Then one has not been paying attention to the christian right for the past at least 20 years. They loose some ground in some years like in the 70's but they made up for lost time in the 80's, when they were able to convince their followers that hippies and others were evil, and once again now, loosing a bit of ground again. I don't care what people want to believe, maybe it's best that we balance manipulation with enlightenment, until we wake up completely and learn to live by simple common decency and not fantacy and control. I don't see that every happening, we are too brain washed.

I'll be gone, thankfully, before christians rule the world, but I feel sorry for those here when christianity finally does.

Well the Christians need to let others do their thing and stop pushing beliefs. Everyone gets to do their own thing, or should get to. I'm tired of rich, white, religious, old men running this country.

I have seen Rocky Horror quite a few times. I had album too. Good music. I have the movie of it now.

I have noticed that when they mention all of the movies that Susan Susan Sarandon has been in, they never mention Rocky Horror.

I'm a Christian and I agree with what you are saying. I believe that church and state should be separate. It scares me to think that religious fundamentalist fanatics try to run this country.

I can't believe that you had a movie banned.

Oh you don't need to worry about that. Christianity already died as a credible religoin. All that's left today is the ghost of it's dead dragon.

The radicals who make a lot of noise in the name of Christian fundamentalism don't have the following and support that they'd like you to believe. Yes, it's true they are doing a lot of underhanded things to try to incite people into bigotry in the name of Jesus, but they aren't truly succeeding.

Most people who call themselves Christians today aren't dumb enough to fall for that. In fact most people who call themselves Christians don't even attend church or support churches. Or when they do it's more in the spirit of local social services rather than to back radical Christian fundamentalism.

I read that the fastest growing religion on Planet Earth today is "Designer Christianity".

What does this mean? It actually means that Christians are renoucing "Chruchianity" at an ever increasting rate and deciding to just have a "personal walk with Jesus".

In fact, the very word "Chruchianity" is a word that came into being by Designer Christians (people who reject the official churches and decide to just have a personal walk with Jesus).

So Christianity as an official organized religion is rapidly deteriorating and giving way to a new concept often called "Designer Christianity".

It's called "Designer Christainity", or sometimes "Salad Bar Christianty", because it's about people who have become fed up with the bigotry of the churches and the organized religion and have decided to just have a personal walk with Jesus. They aren't interested in all the details of the whole Bible. In fact most of them accept evolution as a fact, and have no problem with Gays.

They TRUST IN JESUS and don't judge others.

They reject the church and embrace Jesus.

So that's what's happening with Christiainity today. It's going through a metamorphosis where the church is dying and the members are protesting against the church (once again) and going off to just worship Jesus in their own way.

It's kind of like Protestants rebelling against Protestanism. Which was inevitable anyway. They never did like the idea of anyone speaking for Jesus. That's why the rebelled against the organized Catholic Church. Now they're rebelling against their own protestant churches. They just don't like the idea of churches.

Give it another generation or two and there will be no such thing as an 'organized' Christian religion.

After all, it wasn't that many generations ago we were riding in stage coaches shooting at savage indians. Look how far we've come in those few generations. What was it? A mere hundred years?

Christianity may not even be remembered a mere hundred years from now. The only reason it made it through the dark ages is because it was the CAUSE of the dark ages.

I know my community is ultra conservative, even that caught me off guard.

I prefer my chickens alive, rather then sacrificed. Doves, and bulls too, and the OT groupies were big on their sacrificing.

The Satan of the Bible is ridiculous. However, I did read, and enjoy The Satanic Bible by LaVey, and found it made a heck of a lot more sense with far less the hypocrisy.

People will vilify and add a political slant whenever they feel there agenda can be forwarded.

Its just funny as all get out when it seems as clueless as this example haha.
