Topic: Michael Jackson funeral/tribute | |

Oh man I don't know how much more of this I can watch.

Tomorrow I hope to write a piece about how short our lives on earth are, and how we must make every day count. It will be a tribute to those who have gone before us to soon.
But to finish this off, I would say that Michael Jackson was very tired. He begged a nurse to give him what he thought he needed to sleep because he had terrible insomnia. She refused. We will never really know why.. She just refused. SO, he got it somewhere else, and it took him to a place from which he could not return. This man will now rest in peace forever. |

That was horrible

Usher, Marlon and his daughter were the most emotional moments of the entire service

Made me cry

I'm starting this thread for anyone who wants to post a thought, hopefully a positive one on the funeral or a memory. I am hopeful this will be the last thread concluding with his funeral. I am also hopeful this thread can remain civil Watching the casket brought out was tough, for me. I don't like watching these things but who does? I feel so bad for the family, his Mother especially. Parents aren't suppose to bury their children. I'm recording it so I can watch it tonight with my child. |

Usher made me cry too. That first song, I'll be there started me though. I don't do funerals well anyway. And his poor poor child. THAT is what we need to remember. There is a FAMILY behind this pain. God bless her sweet heart.

My heart is heavy for his children, little Paris, bless her heart. Reverend Sharpton summed it up for me, and what a joy for the family when he was presented with that award. Michael, you truly rocked my world. Sleep on brother, sleep on in the company of angels.

I have to tell all of you that there is another thread in the music forum and the people in there are not being as nice!!

Well, that is why I put in the OP/title that this was a tribute. I feel like if you don't have a tribute, there is no need to even click in here. And I have appreciated that that was respected.

I have to tell all of you that there is another thread in the music forum and the people in there are not being as nice!! Their choice, I am a Michael Jackson supporter ( along with about a couple of billion people) surely not so many of us can all be wrong at the same time. Forever MJ |

What a minority number of people do not want to acknowledge is the fact that Michael Jackson had a selfless ethos, he practiced what he preached and lived by what he believed in................... Loving each other unconditionally !! If we all applied one minute particle of what he believed in then the world would be a much better place. |

You are right Bonny. That's why I love the song Man in the Mirror and posted it above. If we all just change the only thing we really have control over, ourselves...just think would the world could be.
