Sometimes, when I feel down, my chest hurts. Not from anxiety, but more so in my sternum. It feels like it is caving in, or imploding slowly.

Has this happened to anyone?

Usually when I feel down the voices start talking too me and telling me of ways I can take over the world...well, actually they do that constanty and I'm never really down...but they do come up with some amazing ideas.

Aside from me I think you should see a doctor.

Not heartburn or asthma. I have had heartburn and acid reflux, which both suck. Never had asthma.

That is true...but you should also not poo-poo the idea of stress & anxiety...even if you don't think you have it...it can be a common physical manifestation...

It could be one of several things.

In most cases it's probably a mild heartburn.
Smoking heavily
If you spend long periods sitting in a cramped position

If you have it only when you are feeling down, you should see a specialist.

Then again. Depends on the weight of the person sitting on your face. oops slaphead bigsmile

No, not heart broken. I think that is scientifically impossible, lol.

I do sit at a desk for 8 hours, then spend like 4 to 5 hours at home at the computer. Maybe it is the cramped position thing.

Sounds like depression. I get that too. The mind can do some amazing things.
