I came out of bad relationship about 9 years ago. I've been looking after my only child since. Now I really need a friend. How can I get give my trust to someone again????

I too came out of a very bad relationship...Lesrning to trust again is one of the hardest things I have learned to do. But not everyone is that person who gave you so much greif, there are people out here that ready able and willing to help you along the path you wish to travel..Just open your heart and use your head, we're all here for you! |

You can't make everyone pay for mistakes of the past, you also can't put everyone to the same caliber of person you have already dated. Talk to people, get to know them, learn to trust again...no one can give you a 'from point A to point B' answer, you have to learn to trust again we cannot learn it for you. |

Just go slow and keep some walls up until THEY prove through their actions that THEY are REAL and NOT just playing with your heart.. THIS includes even friendships found here,wink, Through time and real desires YOU will learn their heart and theirs yours,,,,GOOD LUCK with ALL you seek to find here and in life..

Not sure what you mean by "bad relationship", but if you are still having difficulties with trust issues 9 years later, it may be time for some therapy.
