Beguile
Do not beguile, Entreat me no longer Stave not with piercings to my soul. Turn your eyes away, Look far beyond, For soon you will leave, not stay. You think tis better, To stone up the wall, A moon hiding, peeking in trees. Disappointment captures, Pride hurts us all, A surety you'll feel bitten, deceived. Not a moon, just a street light. Though never pretentious Assuming. The veil of the shimmer When leaves start their quiver, Reflection becomes the dimmer. So how does this woman Understand this man, Who sees through his hands and his fingers? Untying the knots, Of the loose ends of ribbon, So carefully offered, unhidden? How show me how? Entreat me no more. Keep me no more from this missing. Please show me how, Or beguile me no longer, Entreat me only with heaven. Raine Les 7/2/2009 |

I always love that!! what will you do?? I am taking a break from my mother-in-law, hiding in and out of a hot tub all day. I will watch fireworks in the night sky from a distance. I miss my children, grands..all on the other side of the world. I am happy for you..such a joyous time.. |
