For the pretty formatting... Dubz got me to sign up on POF and I can hardly stand it that site is so ugly. I can't be on a site all the time that looks like crap... I guess I'm an internet snob? HAHAHAHA
Anywho, thanks Mingle for making this site clean and simple looking and easy to navigate through

i think that's one reason i hated pof so much, it's ugly. thanks for pointing that out. |

My best friend is a graphic designer, her work is beautiful. They SERIOUSLY need a web designer on that site. I don't know how people can stand it

I was on there long before I found JSH... JSH changed the my whole idea of these types of sites.. NO site is like M2/JSH...

 I like the way JSH/Mingle2 is formatted too.I have also noticed that other sites look ugly and aren't as easy to navigate

I find the POF forums are not as interesting, And I tend to think the format here is better. POF keeps pushing the upgrade like I am going to waste money on that. NOT! At least here it seems like people care about each other.

I was on there once. I suggested in their feedback forum that the site needed a face lift & that they should implement something on their server so that the picture previews didn't get all distorted. They locked my thread.

I find the POF forums are not as interesting, And I tend to think the format here is better. POF keeps pushing the upgrade like I am going to waste money on that. NOT! At least here it seems like people care about each other. yeah what's up with that.. You can have "this (not much)" for FREE BUT if you pay us you can have "that (not much more)" 
So many sites are like that.. Some say "if a person pays on a dating site then they are serious and if they don't they're not".. UM how about serious or not your site might not be worth paying for.. |

from what I've heard they're very strict with the forums and MARC runs everything out of his apt...

Yeah. I've heard that POF's almost entirely run out of a small apartment somewhere out there in the ether. Makes you wonder why anyone would do such a thing, anyway.
