I have had a bike since I was fourteen and don't remember ever thinking that I had it to impress anyone. Your comment says more about you than you know.

Riding a bike on the twisty road isn't about "coolness". If you've never done it, you don't know how it feels like the ultimate freedom. Even if I just ride alone, stop periodically and be amazed by all the things to see, often missed by sitting in a car.
