I stand here with an open heart.
Knowing it could be torn apart.
It is a chance we all must take.
We put our hearts at stake.
Hoping we will find.
Someone that is loving and kind.
We put our lives on display.
Just to see if someone will look our way.
Maybe it will be today.
Our lives we do expose.

They even really care.
Or do they even dare?

And remind them our hearts are very real.
