In my yrs. here I have come to know many great ladies, some I have met, others just spent hrs in conversation with. Slow down, anything good takes effort, that I don't think you have put forth, yet.

Met two from another site, coffee dates to meet and greet.

One from this site-ran into her at the laundry-mat,who I had declined to meet at her home at 1 am.

One just the other day, at a local book store, very pleasant.

And I am going to meet someone next week.

And I forgot to mention the people I chat with here too, they are the best.

Met one of my best "buddies" in person on here. And having a get together at my house in Sept. when he and Pam from Florida will come up, anyone else we can wrangle in on it too.

Met a guy from a different site in October, he was about 10 years older than his picture showed him, and we got along "okay" in person, but after he got home and we talked on the phone, the "real him" came out when he was about half to 3/4 drunk and got really mouthy with me. That was the end of that. Oh yeah, he wrote a couple of weeks ago, wanted to "see me again." I wrote back, "you need a place to live?" He wrote "yes" - I said, "nope."

Have made many really good friends on here, more like family than friends.

I have met some wonderful people from this site. Romantically and just as friends.

Yeah, lots, and lots, and also one guy today who threatened me with violence.

There are people on my friends list who have met "the one" here.

Not for everybody. I suspect the earth will be a smoldering cinder after the sun swells into a red giant, incinerating the inner planets, some 5 billion years from now, before I find anyone compatible here....

But then again, I'm what you might call "selective"....

I've met just about everyone on my friends list and I couldn't ask for nicer friends...believe me I've tried and was told to shut my pie hole and accept them!

I have met one person from this site ^^ and chatted with a few others. I am looking forward to meeting more as hopefully some day we will have a local meet & greet.

I'm with Melody on the whole conditions thing. You are attracted to who you would hope to be the perfect person for you. I have some things I am looking for specifically based on past experience and my job has placed some conditions on my future relationships, as well. Because of my work conditions, I had to say 'Goodbye' to one really great guy that I was chatting with on here that seemed to be my perfect match in so many ways.

I look around and see that it is possible to find great friends here and maybe even "the one that rocks your world". It takes time, effort and a few toads, I am afraid to find your perfect mate.

So, in the meantime. I am someone looking for my someone!
