for those who dont know who he is talking about - dimebag darrell who WAS the lead guitarist of the band 'pantera'
dimebag was killed in columbus ohio, actually. december 8th 2004 he was shot by someone in the crowd. apparently the guys fired 15 shots total with 5 of them in the back of darrell's head. killed instantly. dimebag was a hardcore hillbilly with amazing shredding abilities. wicked speed and incendiary riffs. easily one of the best metal guitarists of the recent past. |
