Topic: Would you forgive a friend if | |

And now I have a nervous tick punch people in the face reflex to people who ask if they can borrow a car. "Can I ride your harley"? "Can I f*ck your girlfreind"? "No"!!! "Well then you can't ride my harley f*ckface".

A friend will not a borrower be. ESPECIALLY if it is something I treasure. Oh and no; even if I agreed to it they mess it up I am going to me major ticked. I might forgive but I won't forget so the friendship would pretty much be toast.

they lost something you let them borrow that was special to you? Depending what is was they wanted to borrow... my car, my jeans, a cup of sugar, a few dollars... Those things aren't special enough to matter if they lost them.. And the things that are special to me I wouldn't borrow to anybody. |

ya I would probably forgive them. Its just stuff. I had a friend who had a very expensive item of mine in her trunk of her car. She lent the car to a crackhead friend who stole the car and the item was gone forever. What was I going to do? Its just stuff......not a meaningful thing and I wished I still had it sometimes but it can be replaced.

If it was truly a mistake, then sure. In LHB's case, they weren't really a friend to start with... so no.
