Illinois IS boring. All these exciting states...... and we've got nothing. Chicago is touted as such a marvel of excitatude, but em eeh ayche I say. Six flags is pretty cool though I guess, but even that has gotten sucky. Illy's prob is corruption. Take six flags for instance; a bottle of soda costs five dollars! Greed ruins fun. Then there's the prices in Chicago! WHOA!

Haha. I was born and raised here, but I don't the like the ''Pimp my hood'' patriotism everyone else is into.

Yep you are right! Illinois does suck. All the corruption, no jobs. If it wasn't for my kids living in this area I would probably leave. If you could live anywhere else, where would you go?

Illinois is pretty boring, at lest around where I am from. There is nothing around here but corn fields unless you want to drive at least 45 minutes....YUCK!

Of all the states I could have moved to that I actually lived in before (California, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, etc.) I had to pick the one I never really lived in...Illinois, and everyday I regret the decision...

I would move to Montana. I like mountains, streams, trees, etc. For excitement I'd just travel to cool places. MAYBE come to Chicago for half a day, lol. I could do that here right? Live here but travel? Well no. How often would I actually do that? I'd be stuck ''here'' most of the time :P

I hear ya. I have lived in this state all my life. Thank god I live close to /st. Louis. They at least have a little more to do not only there but in the metro east area. If I still lived in the small farmtown I grew up in my friends and I would travel to St. Louis, Springfield or Chicago just to find something to do. Cow tippin you can only do so mutch of.

This state is boring.. I feel like I live in the middle of HELL.
But after living in big cities all my life living in Monmouth may as well be nowhere.

I feel bad for anyone who's lived in this area their entire lives!

It's not so bad if you can get to Chicago or St.Louis once in a while. Went to Alstate Arena this week in Chicago. We had a awesome time.

I love the place beginning to hate the people. All my friends live in Cali, IN, MI, and WA. Girls my age range are horrible. They don't respect others or themselves. You only think other places are great cause you don't live their. You know that grass greener other side yadda yadda yadda. But in general I just getting a negative outlook on girls around here. I live next to Woodfeild sooo no corn here.

How do you guys hate IL/Chicago?!
There is countless things to do and places to go and gorgeous looking people! Its always improving, Who doesnt love Chicagos two seasons winter and road construction. It's what makes this city! I can't believe people think its Hell. Its Amazing!

and bring your own food to six flags or get a season pass, they give you coupons! im going again the soon! fright fest!! lol

Countless things to do that cost entirely too much money to do, actually it is starting to degrade, the two seasons I hate most, it is in fact Hell.

Six Flags? Really? I've been to Fright Fest, it is relatively the same thing every year.

How many other states have you lived in? Personally I've lived all over the West, trust me when I say this...your state is not all that good.

Then move. Or make more money
