Topic: What is HUSBAND or WIFE material for you?

This topic may be vague so explain your answer if you like. What makes a person, husband or wife material? What are some factors that will help you decide if this person is for you? If you don't want to get married then what makes you want to be with them period?

above all else, integrity. secondly, he would have to consider me a priority in his life. Damn near THE priority in his life...as I would him. Third, he has to be a hard worker and take pride in his home and yard. Those are the main things.

Having been married before, I can honestly say there is NOTHING short of amnesia, lobotomy, or voodoo curse that would ever get me to go through THAT again. But if I'm looking for someone to get involved with: Intelligence, communication, sense of humor, patience, compassion, honesty, creativity, understanding, and tolerant of a guy with the attention span of a retarded gerbil. I've met a lot who SAY they have all of that, but only one who actually DID....!!
