I usually wouldn't put a comment like this in the jokes forum but it seems that the debate has already began. Just thought I might put my personal opinions out there as well.
I am licensed in my state for concealed carry and do use this right. I have never had to use a gun for any perpose againist anyone and pray that I never do but regardless I WOULD RATHER HAVE A GUN AND NOT NEED IT THAN, NEED A GUN AND NOT HAVE IT. Futhermore I probably wouldn't even use it to protect my own life, since I am most likely more ready for Heaven than the guy trying to kill me. I would actually be more likely to use a gun to defend your life or my loved one's life than my own. So I can't see why anyone would be so afraid of me or my gun. I am a mentally stable law abiding citizen and would never use a weapon in anger, only in defense. I am also very knowledgeable about gun safety and remain conscious of safety 24/7/365. I know I don't speak for everyone that carries a gun but you would be surprised how many people are out just like me. If you are ever in a situation where your life is in danger and you are unarmed you just might be glad if someone like me is around. So anyway that's my two cents worth take or leave it, the choice is yours. |

Dang skippy. Why is it that places where you aren't supposed to have a gun are the places were killing is the most prevalent? Schools, churches, etc. Yeah, I just love the thought of guns in my child's school. 
so you think because it is against the rules there are no guns there interesting very interesting why is some schools have metal detectors is that those that don't follow the rules have the guns thus leaving those that do o the mercy of those that don't those that give up their liberties for a false swnse of security deserve neither liberties nor security There will always be people who do not follow the rules. Is that a reason to allow guns in schools, though? well seeing as you have to be 18 to buy a gun we re not talking high school if they are in college yes if they want to bring a gun they should be allowed (the college could make them have a special permit for the carry on the school grounds and to get the permit thy could make them maintain proficiency standards) you may say you do not want them there but if you had a child murdered at virgina tech you may think differently when only the evil have guns the good usually become extinct |
