Do men say "all you who are well deserving Mom's??" Why do all these come with qualifiers? Father's Day needs to be put out of its misery. We get a T-shirt or a tie or a tool and maybe a card if we are lucky. Mothers truly get a day dedicated to them. It's a double standard and I'm sick to death of it... Thanks for the acknowledgement though... That's it I'm out of here! Geez. See you all later |

Happy Fathers day Dads, Your guys support in a childs life is so special, and important, thank you for reaching out to the kids, and doing all the things that help them grow into responsible, strong, caring, intelligent individuals.
We all should be so lucky to have a Dad thats there, and goes the extra mile. Thank you Dads.

BUT, being you made it an issue, Bearing a child, doesnt make a person a actual Mom or Dad, but taking care of a child and loving them does. |

I agree; there are plenty of dads out there who do not wear the title well. Same for some moms.
But, To all you dads...and you know who you are.................100% of the equation.... Good job fellas. HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!! I didn't send my son a card this time...or the last. I sent him another poem.(he likes it when I write them for him) I haven't heard back as to whether he got it yet or not. They shut down all communications after an incident. I will probably hear from him tomorrow. Kat |

Do I ever read, Happy Mother's Day to all who are well deserving Moms? No I do not. Why is it so difficult to just say Happy Father's day? The day is past, but no I will not let it go until you understand your contribution to the glaring double standard. I'll get over it once you stop digging in your heels and realize you are wrong. I realize nothing will ever change your or society's attitude about this, but I like to at least try and keep my side of the road clean.
