I had a mother in law like this. OMG. Everything was always sooooo bad and she was soooo pitiful alllll the time. It was like crying wolf when something REALLY was serious. Nobody liked being around her.

Nobody liked being around her. I don't really complain much, just don't care for it myself. Every once in awhile I will gripe a bit. Life sucks, only guarantee is taxes and death. |

Personally I know that their are days that you just wanna VENT or you have a real need to CRY or you're soooooo pissed off that you just wanna SCREAM and let it all out.
I'm lucky that I have friends who I can share these times with and get it all out of my system. One thing I do do (not crap! hehehe) is read the persons response and feel out the current situation. If my timing is bad or I can tell that the person is not able to gve a supporting ear then I shut it off and move on in the conversation with something else. HEY! Maybe they need to vent, cry, scream aobut something in their lives. BUT ... never will I rain on someone elses parade or infect others with my bad mood, kharma, or blues. People who do that are selfish, self-centered, nasty, unhappy, KILL JOYS!!!!! And I always allow the other person to try to lift my spirits and usually it works and they do. Gotta say I love my friends!! |

I should change the title from piss on the daisies to stick your hand in a bucket of water. |

This phrase sounds familiar. Where have I heard it before? Because the first time I ever ever heard it was from YOU!!!!!!! And I had to say, what does that mean and you said to rain on ones parade! |

You goof!
And by the way, I don't for a second mean that we don't all have days, and need to vent to someone or bad experiences. Not at all. Mitch you can say all of this better than I can. It IS your phrase after all. |

It IS your phrase after all. I say there are two kinds of people that piss on daisies. Those that just need a place to urinate and are indiscriminate about where they go. Others piss on daisies because they like to kill flowers.... |

But what about those who are just marking their territory?!?
