Every once and awhile I gotta keep it real...
Every time I get dissed or when I am feeling generally undesirable as a result
of the tremendous amount of rejection I experience here... Each time I look at a profile and make a conscious decision I like this person, Im gonna either be about it, or i'm not.
Thats why friendship is the obvious choice here. You can slice it` any way you want, but if it takes a long time why bother-
It is so important for us to try to see our similarities in one another here, rather than our differences.
I suggest we remove all the crap from our profiles- all of the age and race and
worth, and just write what we feel and be ourselves...
For those of us that require security clearances, I suggest you understand you'll never know about another person until you look them in the eye-
it will all be said right then.

My own interpretation is that it's not viable because most people are only here to window-shop and be "seen."

In my opinion, a lot of people think that on line communication is not real. They say things that they never would in person. You have to weed out those people and stick to the genuine ones. I won't waste months of chatting on line before I will give out my phone number or go on a date. If I met that person on the street instead of on line, those things would occur immediately. Why treat this any differently.

Well, I don't know about you, but I've met lots of cool people from this site...IN PERSON. Ya' just gotta get off yer azz & DO IT!

I think its possible to seperate your online life from your real life, and sometimes thats a good thing.

When I started getting into the forums I had a lot of bs going on in my life. Being the person I am without all the issues when I was here made me enjoy myself even when my world was crumbling.

I think that people have certain criteria for things because they are looking for different things. Cant blame them.

Actually, the last Mingle party I went to (a week ago) was a regular Taco Fest...people need to quit pissin' & moanin' & MINGLE for gawd's sake!

I do love to Mingle. I've met four people from the site so far and ready for more in August. When you're feeling froggy you just gotta jump.
