i just joined the site and well here i go....just on a bit of a rant here so take it or leave it. im just tired of relationships and dating that end up no where. it feels like i only get immature relationships...hahaha long story short its time to grow up (relationship wise) anyways just blowing off some steam

I know from personal experience...getting involved in the forums here and getting to know others and making friends...helps

yeah its a nice escape from people that i know, i get to much well you should and its for the best and i thinks..hahah just nice to have a place to follow my integrity with no one to judge

there is judging everywhere you go. that you can't escape. just be true to yourself is all I can say. you know who you are better than anyone

Online dating can be a tough way to meet people. It's like you skip the normal 'making friends, getting to know people and finding people you like... then maybe asking them to dinner a few times' and jumps right to 'Hey, you want to have a relationship?' part. I just can't seem to adjust to the whole paradigm.

I agree with YellowRose. The forums are a good way to 'meet' people. Not always great for the dating scene since the ones you like are always on the other side of the universe. But still a good place to meet some good people.

music: its cool to vent. as you can see, there are really great people here to offer advice and a friendly hello.

You know I hear you on the few dates then relationship. It's different for me also. It's a new world, well old a little I guess LOL.

Online dating is 10 times more difficult, now you have to read the words and decide without the luxory of vocal tones and facial expressions. Oh, and now everyone knows them, this is fun! Now we get to hear how good/bad/ugly/beautiful they are, from people we don't even know personally! That's right! We get the misconceptions of everyone bottled into one giant thread!

Most if not all online relationships fail, just a fact. Then again, most if not all relationships in general fail...another fact. Man up and take charge or continue to sulk in the median of 'I should, coulda, woulda, but didn't'. Been there, done that, and didn't even get a picture. The thing about online dating is you either become more cold and dark, or you open up and seek assistance...I've done both.

Do what I do and hang out in a dark hole planning world domination...passes the time alone pretty good.
