more of song than a poem, hope you enjoy.
We are waiting at the mall. We are the one’s that know everything about you. We are beyond the mortal wall. We have been watching you. We know everything you want. We will join you soon. (I am the patron saint of broken hearts. I care for everyone Yet i am set apart from everything. And wish i could heal every pain. And not feel like i do today. But I don’t think it can really change I haven’t made a difference anyway.) When the whole world comes crashing down. We’ll be there for you. And make it go round again. we’ll watch and listen. Ever, faithful friends. We are waiting at the mall. We are the one’s that you don’t know We are material and yet unknown. We have been watching you. We see you’re alone. We won’t meet you. When the whole world comes crashing down. We’ll be there for you. And make it go round again. we’ll watch and listen. Ever, faithful friends. (I am the patron saint of broken hearts. I care for everyone Yet i am set apart from everything. And wish i could heal every pain. And not feel like i do today. But I don’t think it can really change I haven’t made a difference anyway.) We are waiting at the mall. We are the one’s that know everything about you. We are beyond the mortal wall. We have been watching you. We know everything you want. We will join you soon. |

This seems a powerful social commentary on how a "broken heart" is often dealt with....at the mall...nice job

thanks guys.
thank you angellight for your thoughts/complements. i like how poems and songs can have different meanings depending on the person reading them. when i wrote it i was mostly inspired by the movie the Truman show, FRIENDS- the tv show and angels. angels are "the watchers" it's also about some conflicts i have. |
