Having been an instructor for the Military in...Escape and Suvival...I have eaten things that would make throw-up, puke. When you are hungry enough, you will eat the azz out of a skunk. I think the worst story you told me was about the "Camel Squeezin's" do i even want to know? Suffice it to say that it's an excellent source of...uh...water...out in the desert... |

When I was in Thailand, I enjoyed eating all the different dishes even though some were jokes that were played on me (a different story). One day in Chaing Mai we went to the outdoor market and I found the worm area. They had these huge bins of worms with hundreds of pounds each. Big worms, fat worms, small worms, grub worms .... lots of worms. Most looked fried but I think some were sun dried. Obviously, I did what anyone else would do and bought several different bags of worms to sample. Some were OK, none I would really call great (except for the ones at the airport in little sealed bags that tasted like pork cheetos). One bag of worms tasted "wrong" but I ate them anyway. I thought maybe the oil they had been fried in was rancid. I was a little sick for a couple of days.

I had a woman jump up and down on my face until she was sopping wet and gooey. That was quite an experience.

My brother and mom both had weak stomachs so I played on this many times as a kid. The best was our neighbors cat got into our basement and vomited. Of course my mom found it and called me down to clean it up. Unfortunately the cat had worms so there were these little white maggot like worms in the cats vomit. My brother came down with another bucket to put the cat vomit in and as he gave it to me I pulled a worm out of the cats vomit and ate it. My brother and mom proceeded to fill the bucket with their own vomit I was one happy little kid.

I accidentally brushed my teeth with ben gay ointment and had dog meat in S. Korea, without knowing it until afterwards. Funny now, but not then.

I went to a diner with some friends....we were so baked out of our gourds. I accidentally put the crackers that came with my soup into my coffee. I didn't drink it but I couldn't stop laughing at myself, the waitress was cool though she laughed and asked if she could get some of whatever we had smoked. |

When I was about 19, I came home from work and my brother was standing in the kitchen with an aluminum foil pan full of pork fried rice and something I didn't recognize. My brother said "Here, try this"......hesitantly I tried it.....
I'm chewing and chewing.........and chewing....and I told him it was okay, but I didn't want anymore. Just as I try to swallow it my sister comes running in and screams "YOU'RE EATING OCTOPUS!!!" (they both know I am not a big seafood eater). Well......it wasn't coming up...it wasn't going down....and I was turning purple.... |
