You pretty much hit the limit right there. I believe that's the most I have ever used in a single post (other than a birthday post). But sometimes the written word can be confusing...so I'm all for a well-placed  or  ...just so they don't get their panties in a twist...

I think that they are a good way to punctuate the written word with some kind of tone, emotion....too many times I have received emails that seem to come across as harsh due to someone's style of writing, only to find out later that it was meant in a light or joking way. However, I do usually only use them for close friends and the special guy in my life...
