What exactly does this mean? Dogs are loving, devoted, eager to please and forgiving. I have always thought of these as good qualities. However, when women say "all men are dogs" it doesn't come across as a complament. Ladies, could you please explain?

I think that women are refering to the fact that dogs will hump anything without caring about the previous female. Most dogs don't care where they get affection from as long as they get it.

On a sub note here for the women. All men are not dogs. Just a large percentage. At the same time though many women are the same way. Just not quite as large a percentage.

Men want to hump everything? I have never met a man that didn't have standards. There are very few men that will have sex with any woman that comes along.

That's a stereotype like anything else, bred from miscommunication(s), and bad experiences. Dogs are like people, when brought up the wrong way, say, with petulence, disrespect, and violence, then they too will, most likely, grow up that same way. On the flipside, if a dog (or man) is brought up in a loving way/environ, they usually grow up that way. I am the latter... ty.
