Anyone know what to do about anxiety attacks...I feel really weird right now.
I'm not sure if I'm freaking about because of hormones or anxiety but I'm worried. Advice. Please. |

Slow deep breaths.

Depends what causes them. Breathing exercises helps. Jogging can also help.

I suffer from anxiety, but ive lately been trying to use CBT techniques to try keep me calm....
Think of: The negative thought The feelings....and The consequences. Its all about trying to retrain ur brain to recognise negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones. For example, my kid tells me he hates me, my negative thought is "im a failure", which then makes me feel crap and i become upset....and i challenge him, and it results in an argument where by both of us feel crap and there is no resolution. IF i had thought positively and not took it personal, i wouldve thought "ok, hes trying to engage in an argument, but im not going to engage, im just gonna be calm and express myself without anger". Dunno if i made my point lol! but hey, thats me for ya! |
