I'll eventually upgrade after I've moved an gotten settled in. I just don't want Vista. I've heard way to many bads things about it.

My main comp is an Emachine. But, it doesn't have the memory for the cad program I had. So, I was using this one to get my woodworking projects finished. One of my projects was comisioned. Yeah, I'm screwed. I guess I better get used to asking folks "You want fries with that"?

Nuthin' but overpriced arts-and-crafts crap. I got my 24-inch LCD at a pawn shop a year or two ago. Only cost me $100, too. |

I've been lookin around online for a new flat monitor. Found some nice lookin ones for around $70. Not a priority at the moment so it can wait.
I do alot of cross stichin an crochetin. I do not want to pay a d*mn fortune for a piece of Aida material that I know they've marked up at least 300%!! |

Yeah. It sucks when you gotta shell out some major dough for your habit, huh.
We used to have a couple of joints here that did the whole fabric/yarn thing. One was called "House of Fabrics", and the other joint was called "House of a THOUSAND Fabrics". You could buy whole rolls of whatever you wanted for practically nothing, as well as all the thread, yarn, buttons, and whatever else you wanted. No markups in the least. But then both places went outta business for various reasons, which meant -among other things- no more purchasing of fabrics and other crap. |

We've got a fabric store here in town but h*ll they charge 3x's what Micheal's does for the thread an can't seem to carry the kind of Aida material I've requested.

Hey Thomas!
How are you tonight? |

Yeah. One of the producers of a Christian-themed movie I did in Panama back five years ago owned the Hobby Lobby chain, with its corporate headquarters being in Oklahoma I believe. They're supposedly dotted all over the Midwest.
Never been in one, though. I usually get all my hobby-related malarkey (X-acto knifes, super glue, etc.) at one of two places- - A smallish joint in Studio City called "Studio City Hobby" and - Fry's Electronics in Burbank, near the Bob Hope Airport. |
