No one??? Damn...

ok..we had an issue with our bigger weed eater about starting too...the thing is, the oil/gas is mixed differently for the bigger one that we have...so, when we mixed it the right way it was much easier to start!! the other alternative is to get an electric one.... good luck! |

I have a Black & Decker 18 volt cordless weed wacker, all you have to do is keep the battery charged or in my case I have 3 batteries because i'm going to the a cordless hedge trimmer that uses the same battery.
See if they have a hotline you can call or check the store where you bought it, they would help you out. |

Prime it 3 times and play with the choke! try a half choke before trying a full choke.

Spray the carb with carb cleaner and also pull out the spark plug and ho;d the end over a gas flame to clean out any o;d fuel. Then it should start. What does a lawn boy want to be when it grows up?....................................................................................................................................... A Yard Man

What does a lawn boy want to be when it grows up?....................................................................................................................................... A Yard Man You are right about the yardman..it is awesome. I have a yardman,a murry bigwheel, a snapper (electric start) of all things. But, I can't afford the battery right now. Now that is a hoss of a mower. I had a yardman that had six speeds and would cut through three foot tall weeds. It was magnificent. Kat |

The only solution I found was giving up and buying an electic one I can plug in. I'm ready to do the same thing with the mower. Plus, why don't they make mowers for left handers? I stand on the thing backwards, trying to pull with my left and hold the handle with my right hand. Talk about awkward.

It has rained so much since I last mowed and couildn't get the weedeater started then. Now I can start the little one, but it just can't do it. I could start the snapper if I was a long armed man. It has a pull start and electric. But, I can't get to the end of the rope while pulling on it. All it did was fart too. And smoked a bit afterwards.puff puff...like that. Kat |

im not familier with this tool but a common mistake people make when they dont understand engines is this...
i take it you have a pull start? prime your carb twice as not to fill or flood it, only if its a cold day use full choke pull start untill you here a different noise like its, mabey trying to start, then go to half choke and pull some more. if youve been at it for 5¬ 10 mins then stop for 10 mins and try again without priming. or send it back and go electric |
