I've got options. I mostly sit at the desk with the gigantic screen, but can also do the laptop at the couch thing. Sometimes there's an animal (cat) in the way, sometimes no. It's always cluttered, but not too messy. It's just hard to fit two desktops, a laptop, large format printer, PS3, paper holders and all kinds of other stuff into the space provided.
