anti-christ in ohio forum and it was moved to christian singles forum i can not find a christian singles forum i went to settings and only religion forums are general an other and the only place i have an option to add forums is in the reional area |

Hi folks, Today we created a set of new religion forums specifically oriented towards a particular religion. For example, if you indicated on your profile that you are Christian, you should now see a Christian forum in your forum list. You will only see the forum designed for your particular religion, i.e. Christian members will not see the Jewish forum and vice versa. Topics that are meant only for members of a particular religion (i.e. discussion of bible verses, etc.) should ONLY be posted in the forum for that religion. Topics in this forum, General Religion Chat, MUST be designed for participation for members from any religion. This forum is meant for discussion of religious and spiritual issues by members of ALL religions, not a particular faith. We hope these new forums will allow members of a particular religion to more easily meet singles from their own religion, and to discuss religious issues.  your choce of religion is the one that shows up if you want to see other ones you have to change your preference to the one you want to show up in your forum settings

i would think it would be a good thing to have the choice to have those forums as an option like being able to choose what states or countries forums you would like to have an option to read
i grew up in christianity and would still like to read the thoughts of those at times as i would also like to read the thoughts as presented by others in other religions at times but oh well |

its my opinion that the thought is that not having all the religion forums showing up prevents some arguing in those threads

Hmm... I'm not liking not being able to view other "religions". How else are you to have an opportunity to learn and discuss if you are limited. I understand that this may be in order to keep the confrontation to a minimum... but sheesh. This is a little much I think. What's to stop the folks that like to grumble from changing their options and posting? One of the things I have always liked about this site is that it is open. What's next... you can only email those people that are directly inline with your profile? Are we going to start having a questionnaire to complete to see who we are and aren't allowed to talk to? |

Hmm... I'm not liking not being able to view other "religions". How else are you to have an opportunity to learn and discuss if you are limited.
