I have only had this cat a couple of months....I had a cat named rocky(after rocky racoon)he was 15 and I had to put him down..that was so hard.I said that was it no more cats but went to the humane society and there were so many cats there..I am glad I did! I hear ya..can't tell how how many times after losing a pet I said no more....and well I never stick to it.I would not want to be pet free anyway.I love them too much. They love you no matter what!!

I remeber hearing about those floods in Iowa on the news .It was really bad wasn't it? we had about 9 sq miles under water
