Good afternoon everyone. Getting ready to go out to lunch with my girls. It is a beautiful day out today. I have gotten a lot done this morning. My mom bought a corn hole set and then gave it to me. My girls love playing this game. So tonight I am going to build a fire and set up the game. What is a "CORN HOLE GAME?" My family loves to play outdoor games! Just thought that I would pop in to say hello to all you wonderful people. Sounds like everyone had a good weekend!  Mary

OK...I just googled Corn hole, and I know the game and my family plays it and loves it too! Just didn't know the name of it. My son's friend has the game. Man they are expensive online, my son-in-law thinks he can make one. |

My secret pal from a few months ago sent me school supplies and thanks to her, I have a head start on my college materials. I am going to see the advisor on Wednesday to get enrolled in college and she got me started on my way. Thank you Mary  from a soon to be college student

I AM SOOOOOOOOOO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOO I had my "LAST" college class on June 27th. I went for 7 long years, but man does it feel good to be done. It really increased my self esteem. I thought for all these years that I was too "DUMB" to go to college, and I am finishing with a GPA of 3.975!!! Figure that! There will be some tough days, but YOU CAN DO IT!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!!! Mary

Thanks Mary, I took my english placement test last week, now I have to do the math
I hate math, but I have to do it. I got an 85 on the English/Reading, so we shall see. My advisor is going to help me decide which degree to go for, but I am leaning towards something in the medical field. Thank you for your words of encouragement. And CONGRATULATIONS to you as well

I was just reading through all the posts. It really warms my heart to see how we've all become a little family and how we all share bits and pieces of our lives and 'network' together. This is a by-product of this idea I hadn't even considered. I love the obvious care and thought you are putting into the gifts you send to your pals. You truly are a loving bunch of folks and each of you own a little spot in my heart.

I agree 100% with what Merle said. I love being a part of our little group and nothing makes me happier than to take time out and go shopping each month for my pal. You have certainly done an amazing thing here for all of us, and I know for me, you hold a special place in my heart. I sort of just floated around this site for so long but after joining in the forums have met some amazing new friends! Thank you!

Everybody have a great evening. I went school supply shopping today for my niece and nephew and my daughter is sitting on the floor putting writing their names on everything. I have bought them 4 outfits a piece and need one more each and I bought one pair of Nike. Now I have to get the other ones shoes. I also buy them new undies and socks. Growing up there were six of us and we rarely got new stuff to start school and I hated that. I do what I can for my family and friends.

Good Morning Pals
well it hasn't been too good of a morning for me so far....spent most of the night in the Emergency Room....my blood pressure is playing havoc with my body.....I am ok now but it got pretty scary there for a while, was having dizzy spells and even blacked out at one point...but I am fine now, just have to take things slow for a little while

apparently I am doing to much and my meds were all messed up, the doctor just changed it and my body wasn't adapting to it very well. But I am back on track and yes I am taking it easy again. thats good to hear and im glad to hear your gonna take care of yourself |
