Headlights and an open road. 10 bourbons and I got to make it home.
I wake up then I fall back asleep. I'm waiting for the poison to be through with me
I made it home last night but everything is a blur
that's because i don't remember and I'm feeling unsure.
My head is acing everything is spinning around.

Fast food, floorboard trash, ATM receipts with no left over cash.
I'm socializing, till i cant see straight. Even though bar people are so damm lame.
What will i loose by my attitude. What will i loose by my choice to booze.
Try to understand its what i need to prove, because its my right my right to booze!

Smoke filled bars out in my filthy car pulling the same tricks again.
Its closing time and another life lesson is lost on me, guess ill never win.
I'm feeling $hit faced fuzzy because tonight I got more than my usually fill.
The next day I check my car, and oh my God, blood is on the grill!

Hit and run from the murder scene.
I never thought that this could happen to me.
Hopefully justice will just leave me be.
cause who I hit I did not see.

I feel bad for taking someones blood.
I guess ill have to give up my Kentucky love.
Its a nightmare but you know its for real.
When you find blood blood is on the grill.

its my ride and I like to drive.
Especially when I'm to damm high.
I never killed till i started to drive.
I must be old and over the hill
because Blood, blood is on the grill.

I really hope this is just a write, and not based on a personal exsperiance.

Powerful write. This is kind of sad, but a great reminder to not to drink and drive.
