It IS intended to be a dating site....no matter that it is a great social networking type place as well. Otherwise, why would this be all over the front page?

"We know online dating can be frustrating, so we built our site with one goal in mind: Make online dating free, easy, and fun for everyone.

Finding a date with Mingle2 has never been simpler. Our singles community is massive, and you're only a couple of clicks away from finding a date. "

That said.......trust is hard for many of us. You can get burned here just as well as in real life, no matter how good of a person you thought you were talking with. Good luck to you too and welcome to mingle!

Thx, you got that off the page b4 I could lol. You chill busted him, and when someone is chill busted, it means they were proven wrong XD I like this site so far. Thx for the warm welcoming :)

Still waiting to be proven wrong on the definition of mingle...

you can't take it out of text like that. It depends on how you are saying it, I just looked it up. How in the world are you going to explain, mingle in the sheets? You can't exactly use that definition on a site like this in origional context....

no, but people use mingle alot to describe sexual relations. Most of the time when mingle is used it has to do with dating. Mingle is also is used as being single, as the definition i just posted.

Being single, well that is different than the 'mingle in the sheets'. It is called improperly using a word, many people do it...kind of like "to, too, its, it's".

Ok, what about that definition haughty? that wasn't in the dictionary until my sofmore year in highschool. That was a new word only because of being overly used and known. How many people have you ever! ever heard in your entire life say "can you mingle those ingredients over here"? That's because it sounds more wrong to use than people using it in a sexual or being single kind of sentence. No matter how wrong you may think it sounds, look around you, nobody uses that word in any other way. It takes 2 to mingle, just remember that XD

I think it is funny you are still arguing this even though you are wrong about the proper usage of the word.
