I have been on this on-line dating thing for a while,actually a couple different site's and still have not yet found anyone. What am I doing wrong? Is it my looks or what? Feed back please and dont worry about hurting my feeling's,any suggestions anyone on what I can do. Help....

I think you're cute but maybe you gotta go for making friends first then then proceed to the romancing.

Being friends first is a huge cliche but personally I'd have to be friends before progressing to lovers. It just seems natural to me

When I send a message I just ask if they would like to chat and get to know each other

I think on here posting on the forums helps you get to know the people that are posters and lurkers You could look into the mingle meetups becoming friends with alot of people on here will increase your odds

Don't feel bad -- I've been dabbling with the sites on and off for 10 years and have only met one person who was even remotely suitable. Everybody's different, everybody will have different experiences. Stop looking at it like you're the one doing something wrong -- that's not necessarily the case at all. You can always change your profile, put up some new pics, get active in the forums, if you feel the need to make some changes -- can't hurt, and participating in the forums WILL get you noticed (I learned this here!) --

But mainly, don't take it too seriously, have fun, and get to know some people. This is the best site I've been on (which is why I'm still here), and I would advise everyone to stick around and participate!
