i steamed spinach got some salisbury steak smothered in brown gravy and au gratin cheesy scallops on the stove

Tonight is leftover night. We cajun-fried a turkey the other day and today is buffalo turkey quesadillas with roast veggies. The other choice is spaghetti, for whoever doesn't want the quesadillas.

So what is the Jicama?...if I spelled that correctly "Jicama is a crispy, sweet, edible root that resembles a turnip in physical appearance, although the plants are not related." It is a little sweet, very juicy, very crisp, root that looks like a big turnip. You eat it raw. Get one. You'll like it. It has a very clean mild flavor. |
