Topic: Is There a 'God Spot' in the Human Brain? | |

the mental illness one is an interesting one but still wouldn't involve
more than the region that handles emotion i don't think. how do you think the readout would look if they thought that they were GOD? |

Pretty bazaar if you ask me. But you wouldn't be able to convince them
other wise since they are in such a state of experiencing something an outsider can't. I have experienced cretin states of mind that I know have perfect explanation that most other's would see as something supernatural. Becuase I knew what was going on, that is why I poo poo the notion of some so called supernatural experiences. |

I wonder...Does a Muslim's God spot differ from a Jewish person?
Catholic different from say, a Hindu? And what about the atheist? What's there where their God spot should be? Totally whacko, man...-=x |

i don't think they are any different except for the strength of their
convictions. i would bet that there is a spot for an atheist as well because it really only senses emotion about a subject and they feel strongly enough that there is not a GOD. i would be interested in seeing that study. |

believer of the Flying Spaghetti Monster might have a noodle in there somewhere. LOL. How about a MySpot. Kind of like a MySpace thing where people post there riligous experience and try to gather friends. |
