I'm interested to see how many folks will actually admit to the second part of my OP. I don't think many, if any, will admit to that. They're not going to tell everyone they didn't bother checking for an explanation of what was going on before freaking out. |

Just a survey. How many people realized yesterday's glitch was a site problem, and NOT a "format change"? How many people assumed the worst and actually believed it WAS a "format change" (although I personally can't understand how anybody could possibly think that ANY website would make a move to a change like "THAT"!), and didn't even entertain the notion that the site may be having problems? I must admit, I was getting a huge kick out of the folks who started making threats that they were going to leave if the admins didn't "change the format back", completely clueless to the fact that there WAS no format change. I figured Gypsy got in trouble again and was wreaking havoc because I didn't see any "FIIIIIIIIIIXXXXXIIIIIEEEE THE SIIIIIITTTTTEEEEE!!!!!" THREADS.

I'm interested to see how many folks will actually admit to the second part of my OP. none. everyone knows everything and all 45 of those panicked threads were just a joke. el oh el Of COURSE, nobody's going to admit to it, unless it's with some sort of unverifiable justification. thanks for being human everyone. i would really be impressed if someone admitted to it. because that would entail a sense of humility and the realization that it isnt a big deal. |

When I got on yesterday, realized something was up, asked myself "What the h*ll???" then saw Rapunzel's thread an realized I wasn't the only one. I had thought at first it was my puter actin all crazy until I saw her thread. Posted on hers an then saw the thread Mark posted. Realized the issue would eventually get fixed, checked back every once in awhile, got some laundry done an talked to a friend from here via IM. I did miss the forums an did post every once in awhile. Glad to see all has returned to normal.
 Ahhh, I can once again use my shades emoticon

Well, I only looked in well wishes for a Memorial Day thread since I understood that is where they are to be. But, in this case, I don't think we can say Thank you and we remember nearly enough. |
