I lost my heart it's running alone,
To find it I do not know where.

Yet thinking who would care

Do I think this is where I belong,
Is this my shameful home?
I stand here, weak, not strong
Still the same, still in pain
All this shame with nothing to gain.
Whom do I write to as my soul weeps twice more?
Tell me who has the key, and to which door?
To feel that breath reviving my soul,
That bitter soul which once was a whole
Now is a vacant entity
A dream this is not, or so I was told
Befriend me not I have no heart
By that I mean a heart which is not torn apart
I rest my case but my case does not rest at this
The moon covers the sun like the dusk of an eclipse
