As I sat and look at the years passed.
I realize they went by so fast.
Were did all that time go?
Does anyone really know?
One day it is right here.
Next thing you know it is there.
There with all the other memories in the past.
The ones we thought would surely last.
The loves we thought would stay.
Seem to wither and went away.
Friends we thought would be there forever.
Left our lives with making us think whatever.
The ones we miss due to death.
We think of them and it takes our breath.
For all the unspoken words we did not get to say.
And all the times we would just sit and pray.
Wanting them to just one more time know.
How we really felt and did not want them to go.
We think about all the good times and bad.
About the things that made us happy as well as sad.
No matter what we did in life, even if it was a mistake.
Whether it left us happy or with a heart ache.
It was our very own choice.
We were blessed with a voice.
And have very well learned to speak our mind.
It is up to each of us how to live our lives and what kind.
Just looking at the past this way.
Sitting here thinking about my life today.

SCG, you know it never hurts to look at the past, but we must also
realize never to dwell upon the past. For we can not change the past.
But......... we can make the future into a better past. Making memories
that last a lifetime.


(((((((Denise)))))))) yes looking at our past and really seeing things
does put it in a differt perpective. Even though we know we can not
change it we can very well learn from it.
