Say Anything Just..

It feels as though
I could articulate anything here,
deep, superficial, exposed and vulnerable,
it would make no difference
to the eyes viewing this,
complacent, perhaps prideful,
searching only for their own desire.
Would the words
I quill on this page allow you,
the reader,
he who is searching,
see something of beautiful worth,
though you cannot see my body..
see only my heart and expression?
No, I am not an athlete,
nor is my body in shape,
for whatever the reasons.
Would a compassionate heart
see this woman.
She has made love,
she has given birth,
raised children and forgiven,
though physical and medical
has not served kind.
In the quiet of the night,
loneliness catches her breath.
She would desire to catch a man's attention,
take his breath away.
She cannot give him the fruit of her womb
she can give only her love,
yielding and complete,
tender and kind. And he,
a long, warm embrace,
a slow dance,
a kiss in truth.
