Tonight the sky has opened and released it's only pain
I stand in this pain and find out I too cry this rain
The jealous wind blows hard between the staggering trees
And I have no choice but to fall down upon my knees
The lightning flickers as the cold wet stings my face
I yell madly and the world for putting me in this place
To have everything and nothing all at the same time
The way the Earth took her from me was it's only crime
Alone I stand in this road, this beaten weathered path
To tread alone again in this world, alone to confront my wrath
I hate, I cry, I mourn the reasons but I am all to blame
For the way the alcohol drove me to have her leave me in this rain
