MySpace is where old class mates found me or I found them. Facebook is where my babysitter, who watched me when I was young, found me.

I heard U.S. Search was pretty good. It IS a pay-per-use service though.

I used PeopleSearch once, it cost me a couple of dollars for a single use. It gave me 5 or 6 phone numbers and one of them did turn out to be his dad's.

I had a bad experience with them.

I was looking for a friend who had disappeared -- I provided them with her last known address, phone number, names of relatives, etc. Paid $80, and then they said they would get back to me in 4-6 weeks.

11 weeks later, they contacted me and gave me the SAME information I had provided them. And wouldn't refund the money. No way I would ever deal with them again.
