With all the beaches, mountains, rivers available to us Oregonians. Does anyone have any special plans for this Memorial day. From the forecast it should be good weather. Camping Trips? Beach Excursions?

For one, all of my family have been addicted to the Dunes in Coos Bay/Winchester Bay for the last 25 years. Just got my new ride painted these last few months and for us....its time to roll out the new addition to our club.



Last time I drove it was last year, and it was a disgusting purple color. 3 months of work to strip/sandblast/paint and then put back on all the parts....its time to party!

Most likely Cape Miers(sp) usually not a lot of folks down there and I don't have to keep such a close eye on who my kiddo is wandering up too lol

drive down the 6 right through Tillamook right after you leave tillamook there is a sign on the right side of the road that says"three capes -------------->"
Drive til the road banks to the left and not to far after are two gravle roads on your right take the first one and head all the way back. Exit your car and walk to the left for about 10 mins and you'll arrive at a hill that leads down to the beach

Camp sites?

Unfortuantly no, but its a nice place to spend the day . The bay there's a nice little calm cove on one side of the parking area and the ocean is just a hike away

WEll you're not supposed to but I have every time I"ve gone down there so far

There's tons of drift wood down there
