any other parents out there who have an autistic little one or not so little one anymore? just trying to connect with other parents who are having or have already been through some of the issues associated with this disability.

Have you tried Autism support groups in your area. There are many groups out there and online. States have their own links and resource. This site may not be the most plentiful source for you. Not to say you shouldn't be looking here, just that there may be better places to inquire. I have worked with Autistic children and I know from experience there are many avenues of support available. My youngest son is non-verbal autistic. Diagnosed at age 2 1/2. He is 16 now. I'm on several parent advisory committees in MO. Have any questions, let me know. Lynn
