i'm not exactly well-off...anyhow, being a vegetarian, i purchase all of
my cosmetics/facial products online, and i buy them maybe two to three
times per year. i have it shipped with credit, and then i pay it off in
the next three months. this allows me to order more, and to get
botanical products.

anyhow, i received my shipment today, and promptly tossed it on my bed.
i have a bathroom in my bedroom that i share with my youngest...who
happens to be home sick right now with diarrhea. she's spent quite a
bit of time in that bathroom the past two days...

she heads off, saying she has to poop. after about five minutes, i go
to check on her to see if she needs me to clean her up...and this is the
"grrr" part.

she's taken all of my new stuff...all but one package, and painted me a
picture with it. a hundred dollars worth of stuff...was poured out on a
piece of paper, and she was finger-painting with it.

when i walked in, she tried to hide it. i sent her off in the other
room and proceeded to attempt shoving the creams back in their
respective jars...shocked that so much could be ruined so fast.

raegan walked back in the room, and she saw what i was doing...and a
tear sprang to her eye. "mama, you're messing up your mother's day
present! i made it cause i love you, you're so cute! it had a kiss..."
she trailed off, starting to cry. suddenly, i no longer cared about the
mess.

What a sweetheart, too bad it was with your expensive cosmetics.

Sure you did and a hard one too. But I do know how ya feel both of mine
are grown now and some of the thigs kids do at the time makes us mad,
But.............. when they come back and cry cause they were trying to
make you something it totaly melts our hearts lol

aw what a cutie how could you stay mad at that

yeah it does suck that it was all your cometics... but the thought was
really really sweet!

hehe...my hand cream is now...well, brown-tinged...and my face cream is,
as well.

i figured...well, i'd just save what i could and put the rest in one
container. surely it's still good for me!

Well put it this way keep that story fresh in mind for you can tell her
later about it at one of her slumber partys with her friends around humm
had a few of them with my kids lol

yeah...i remember when i was complaining that i needed new contacts, but
i couldn't afford to get them for another couple of weeks. i was
griping that they were dirty, and i couldn't see too well out of them.

i got up in the morning, and put one lens in. it stung pretty
badly...so i figured i'd put the second one in so i could see the first
when i removed it to clean it better. i was convinced it was a lash or
something underneath it.

oh, no...jordan, who was five at the time, had decided to clean them for
me. with dawn dishsoap.

second degree chemical burns in both eyes. gah.

I know how that is, lulu! Initially you wanna scream and throw a fit,
but then you look at those babies and know their intentions were only
good......what can ya do? There are always more
cosmetics.....

Sorry is was such an expensive present,,, but one you will cherise for a
lifetime,..

i hear ya.

i am still treating a woman who's traumatised by the violence her
mother addressed her with..30 years ago with the same story.......
