A tiny man with curly reddish hair of no more then 3 feet sits on a log watching how the trees sway back and forth on a neat summer day. Puffy white clouds illustrate various funny faces in the imagination of the hobbit.
He waits patiently for his friends to arrive. The adventure of a lifetime to visit the lands beyond his accustomed home has his heart beating fast. |

Cherryblossom
She is deep in the forest. The mornings are still cool. Her eyes have that glint of mischief as she catches the dew drops on her tongue as they slip from low lying leaves. The sun doesn't quite make it to the forest floor leaving an interesting pattern of shadows higher up in the canopy. There are the familiar rustles and chirps. Two squirrels quibble over a winter stash in the base of a pine tree. She giggles. Her voice is light and playful and almost melodic. Her name is Cherryblossom and she is a pixie... There just beyond the fallen log an object catches her attention. Curious she approaches. It looks like some kind of large rodent. Its back arched it begins to shake as though it is pushing with its front feet. She slows her approach and tilts her head as she tries to determine what it is. A cracking sound startles her and she darts left in response. She spins in midair laughing when she realizes she was looking at a bent tree branch. She loves her imagination. The sun is getting high. She must hurry. Billibon will be waiting. |

Thunderfaust
The wizard of Garandol sits in his cottage in deep meditation deciphering the scripts of Akronium. It is said that these texts contain the secrets to unleashing the power of the citadel at Labyrinthia. He has never been to this place but has recently had visions of standing at the gates accompanied by a group of friends to which there is linked a great mission. Thunderfaust lives in the forest of Shenobby next to the stream of Imaginations Dreamed. His cottage sits on the high northern bank at the end of a cobblestone bridge. It is said that this bridge was once used by a great army that invaded the south from the northern forests of Chaud. Cloudbreaker, the great grandfather of Thunderfaust held the army at bay using nothing more than his magickal powers. Today the cottage is known as Bridge's End and sits permanently at the end of this road. Thunderfaust does not live alone. He has befriended a faery. She had been orphaned when a great crusade came and killed the dreams of all the villagers were she lived in their hopes and aspirations. Thunderfaust just happen by before the last of the villagers died. The dying villager shared her knowledge of Lyssis, a small house fairy that she was protecting in a jar she clutched to her chest. With her last breath she asked Thunderfaust to save the fae. He took the clay cookie jar and carefully opened it, daring not to look inside. In a soft voice he chanted, "Lyssis, Lyssis, Lyssis." The frightened fae's face appeared over the rim of the jar peering out to look at the towering Thunderfaust. He smiled and knew that he had saved her. She now helps him care for Bridge's End and tends to it when he's away. |

Billibon waits patiently for his friends to come. One by one they come just before the sun reaches its highest point.
"Well it took long enough Gloriana, Thunderfaust, Cherryblossom," he says crossing his arms. "Does everyone have what they need. Plenty of food and drink. Enough blankets and good walking sticks?" Billibon asks as he hops of his log and plants his walking stick on the ground looking upwards at his comrades. |

As Billibon waits patiently for a answer from the group a sudden flash occurs!
Suddenly time freezes. Everyone is stiff and can't move. "Somekind of foul conjurer did this," mumbles Billibon. Maybe Thunderfaust can reverse the spell or something! |

Thunderfaust had been looking right at Billibon when the seizing spell came over them. He quickly scans the area as far as he can see by moving his eyeballs, but he cannot move his head. Not seeing anything in the vicinity he decides to close his eyes and meditate on his mind's eye for any psychic powers he might sense. But as he tries to close his eyes he cannot! Something is tugging at his eyelids! He quickly enters into his mind's eye anyway in spite of the fact that he cannot close his physical eyes. Someone is using his eyes as psychic cameras! In his mind's eye he sees the source of the spell! It is a demonic-looking creature pinning a skull to the table before him. Thunderfaust quickly realizes that it is his skull in the image! He looks deep into the demon's eyes and breaks the demon's concentration. As soon as the demon senses that Thunderfaust is onto him the spell is broken and everyone in the group falls to the ground released from cursed spell. Thunderfaust quickly rises to his feet and makes a rapid beeline over to confront Billibon: "Where the hell are you taking us? Who knows of your plans? And what exactly are your plans?" Thunderfaust has a look of anger, curiosity, and deadly concern dancing on the fabric of his elderly face, softened only slightly by his normal persona of compassion and sympathy. |

Billibon relieved to be out of this curse as he gets up from the hard fall and brushes off his pants to look up at the concerned wizard.
"Evil has come to these lands. Don't you feel it, can't you sense it? A old enemy of these lands has returned and we must voyage quickly towards the Dwanen Mountains to the Cave of Ishi'tar to destroy a portal that leads to the underworld," the small hobbit replies. "It won't be long before they scorch these lands and all that live on it! As the king's armies defend the lands we have the chance to become heroes and live a life in luxury. We can be remembered as saviors of these lands and all that live in it," Billibon says with joy as he picks up his walking stick and walks towards a trail leading towards a dark forest. He then looks back frowns. "Well are you coming or what?" he says quickly before walking further down the trail. |

Thunderfaust watches the crazy hobbit hobble down the path as he offers Gloriana a helping hand lifting her to her feet.
Cherryblossom lands on his shoulder and softly giggles in his ear with excitement, "We're going to be heroes!" Thunderfaust just grunts and rolls his eyes as he heads down the path following Billibon's lead. |

Gloriana has come a long way from her home in Augshill, and is astonished at her experiences in her journey thus far.
She is attacked by bandits but does not give up. Running for her life she falls and hits her knees on the ground, but does not stay there, she gets up and continues on, until she is saved by two men on horses on their way to the town of Nurenhill. Here she finds a place to rest her head until morning. She enters into the stable and drops the staff on some hay. "Ouch!" screams a small man popping his head out of the hay. "You are to small to be a human," she says. "I am no human! I am a half ling and I don't like to share my spot with you." This halfling is no other than Billibon whom she befriended. |

The day is damp and the sky turns to rain clouds. It begins to drizzle as the temperature sinks. As the group enters the dark forest odd noises have the adventurers shrug their shoulders.
Billibon continues to stubbornly walk deeper inside the forest. Ahead a loud grumbling noise can be heard...... |

"I don't know which way to go." Gloriana says stopping in front of a shop.
Billibon looks at her confused. "I have no clue how to get to the Sacred Woods of Silvernarion." "We need to ask around," says Billibon. "Who should we ask?" she asks. Gloriana and Billibon walks down the busy streets surrounded by stores, bakeries and a warehouse, to reach the end of a street that branched into two alley ways. They took the one one leading left. "I don't like this alley way," Gloriana says. "Why don't we head back to where we come from?" Gloriana offers. As they continue on they heard someone sobbing and walked towards the sound. The sobbing stopped as they got closer, and a hooded figure looks at them from behind some crates.Suddenly he jumps out at them , Gloriana stiffens as she points the staff at the stranger. " Glenadale is that you?" Gloriana ask curiously. Gloriana continues to walk down the side of the road towards the forest.Intent on reaching the town of Nortilim. "Well you said practically impossible. That means to me it is still possible," she replies, not looking back. |
