Everyone go to bed? So at work it's "birds attack" time... This time every year they swoop down and peck at people that are walking by b/c they have their nests on top of the restaurant on the bldg property and the in the trees... Today I was sitting at the tables watching people get dive bombed..    oh and they're protected so the state won't even remove them.. sorta funny...
Yeah? The animal control people won't do a thing to stop those pesky birds?

Nope they said the birds are protected by the state.. I've not been attacked thankfully but I don't usually walk past the restaurant.. If I want a salad I slip into the cafe other than that I sit at the tables that are at the side... I feel kind of bad for the people but it's almost like watching a candid camera episode.. I feel like I should warn people that walk by but they'll look at me like I'm nuts I'm sure...

Beside that, but WHY should you even bother? After all... it's the building management's responsibility to warn pedestrian traffic, NOT you... And whazzup, OC? You seem a wee bit miffed about something?

They send a memo out, I emailed them today telling them it was time for this years memo.. I mean hell they send them daily about the fire alarms being tested, why not one more.. She wasn't too excited that I reminded her.. We have Pepperdine there, 24 hr fitness, 2 high rises, the restaurant and cafe so lot's of people all the time... |

Well... you'd expect them to at least put up signs in the immediate area warning them about the attacking birds and stuff. You know... kind of like those "do not feed the bears" like signs. And they should think about NOT feeding the birds, as that's obviously what's going on- some cottage-cheese eatin' bleeding-heart liberal is obviously taking chunks of bagel and tossing them at the birds, which are giving them an excuse to stay and attack people there. The sooner they stop feeding the birds, the sooner they'll pack up and start moving in with you, Prncs.
