Go here: http://www.sdsos.gov/busineservices/corporations.shtm

A corporation youin your state is $125 (now) ($150) after July 1.

Fees and forms are there and instructions for where and how to file. Become a corporation and protect your personal assets.

Then down load an SS4 from IRS and get a Federal Employer ID# for the business. (Don't use your social security #)

Next, go to the city and or county you live in and get a business license (fee).

Next, call the state department of revenue and see about a sales tax or reseller's permit if you are selling things subject to sales tax and buying inventory.

Finally, open a bank account for the business using the Fed ID # and if youn need to accept credit cards, ask your bank about merchant services.

\Good Luck, kid.

My bill is in the mail.
